area CEATIS will be serving is the Youngstown-Warren Metropolitan Area
in Ohio and the Sharon-Farrell-New Castle region in western
Pennsylvania.
Q: We are a small/medium
sized company. Should we try applying for grants from Federal, State or
Private Foundations?
A: In the targeted market
in which CEATIS is currently operating, grant money is available to
companies and organizations, but these groups do not have the resources to get
the targeted funds. In a survey by Grants.gov only 15% of the surveyed grant
applicants think that the application process is straightforward and
easy. 77% answered that the process is difficult to learn and 91%
are of the opinion that knowing the agency's process better would be
an advantage. (See chart below)
CEATIS is familiar with the process and knows the agencies and their
procedures. CEATIS' professionals are able to provide you with all the resources
you need to apply successfully for the funds you need to prosper.

Q: How many Federal,
State or Private Foundations are there and how much money do they give
away each year?
A: According to the
federal statistics there are over 1,000 federal grant programs offered
by U.S. agencies which have access to approximately $400 billion in
annual awards. If broken down evenly by state then by county, Mahoning
County’s share alone would be approximately $90 million. If broken down
by population only, Mahoning County’s share would be approximately $102
million. Additionally, in the fiscal year 2004 the state government of
Ohio disbursed $25.94 billion in state subsidies and capital moneys,
and in 2004 there had been 67,736 private and corporate foundations
with $ 510.48 billion in assets in the United States giving away $31.84
billion that year.
Q: How soon can you take care of our problem?
A: This will depend largely on the kind of problem and the resources available to
tackle it. Contact

timelines, and grant application deadlines for your problem.
